Bridget Young Awarded SCNZ Young Achiever of the Year for 2023:
27 October 2023: Congratulations to Bridget Young for being awarded the SCNZ Young Achiever of the Year for 2023. Bridget Young was recently recognised as New Zealand’s top Young Achiever in the Structural Steel Industry. It’s the second year in a row that Grayson Engineering has produced a Young Achiever of the Year.
Bridget Young earned a degree in mechanical engineering and joined Grayson Engineering as a junior engineer in 2021 with little confidence or know-how. Today, she has grown to become a confident and valuable member of the project team and manages multiple jobs, says David Moore, Managing Director of Grayson Engineering and Chair of SCNZ.
Grayson Engineering are now ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 accredited:
25 October 2023: Grayson Engineering have attained ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification audited and verified by SGS.
Abishai Tupuola Awarded SCNZ Young Achiever of the Year for 2022:
04 November 2022: Congratulations to Abishai Tupuola for being awarded the SCNZ Young Achiever of the Year for 2022. Steel Construction New Zealand’s (SCNZ’s) Young Achiever of the Year award celebrates those whose skills, drive and willingness to learn has helped them to achieve outstanding outcomes.
As a graduate in Graphic Design, Abishai entered the industry with an unusual skillset, but quickly adapted and has instigated some significant projects for Grayson Engineering.
