Bernar Venet, Gibbs Farm
This sculpture consisted of 7 curved box girders made from weathering steel known as cor-ten plate.
The curved box girders were made from 12mm thick cor-ten plate and were approximately 32 metres in length along their curvature.
The box girders weighed approximately 19 tonnes each and were fabricated and transported as 7 separate loads from our Manukau factory to the installation site at Kaukapakapa.
