Britomart, Auckland

Britomart Transportation Centre, Completed in 2009 for Hawkins Construction, This project involved 2,200 tonnes of fabricated structural steel, due to site constraints, all steel was delivered on a just in time basis and erection activities were co-ordinated accordingly. The site covered a considerable area and as well as new structural steel, there was a significant amount of strengthening work carried out inside parts of the original building that were being retained.
